Our parish is blessed with people of many talents who generously give of their time to help others. We are grateful and thank all who give back to the parish in some way.
|
All areas of the parish benefit from new volunteers:
- Consider helping with a funeral luncheon by preparing food.
- Consider visiting the homebound and bringing Communion.
- Consider becoming a Baptism Preparation instructor.
- Consider becoming a Eucharistic Minister, Proclaimer of the Word, Commentator.
- Consider joining the Prayer Line.
- We need assistance in all ministries and we will provide proper training in a timely manner.

Do not hide your talents under a bushel basket. Let your talents give light to all in our house.
|
|
Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house. Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father. Matthew 5:15-16

Volunteer parishioners offer private prayers for special intentions. The St. John Vianney Prayer Line is made up of over 30 parishioners who offer to pray privately for special intentions. Each member receives a call with an intention, and then passes it on to the next person on the prayer line. These intentions are not announced from the altar nor published in the bulletin. The only goal is to offer extra prayers for those in need.
